Baptism is the first of the Sacraments of Initiation. Baptisms are celebrated with the parish community at weekend liturgies throughout the year. Preparation (pre-baptismal catechesis) is required for 1st-time parents, and is generally held every 2nd Sunday of the month in the basement of the Church. Please contact Deacon John (743-5337) to schedule. (see Sacramental Life Moments on the Ministry page).

This sacrament of initiation is offered yearly at the parish ordinarily to children in the 2nd Grade. The Sacrament of Reconciliation precedes the reception of the Eucharist for the first time. Please contact Ann Galvin, the Director of Religious Education (743-0689) for more information, or check the Religious Ed page.

This final sacrament of initiation ordinarily is offered once a year at the parish to children in the 7th or 8th grade, with the Bishop presiding. Adult Confirmation is celebrated in the Bridgeport Diocese ordinarily on Pentecost Sunday. Preparation is required for both. Please contact Ann Galvin, the Director of Religious Education (743-0689) for more information, or check the Religious Ed page.

Engaged couples should make arrangements with one of our parish deacons or priests at least six months prior to the desired date. Marriage preparation is required. (see Sacramental Life Moments on the Ministry page)

This Sacrament is offered to anyone seriously ill, physically or emotionally.  For more information, contact the parish office, 748-9029.

SACRAMENT OF ANOINTING OF THE SICK - Saturday 8:00am - The Sacrament of Anointing continues the concern, which Jesus Himself showed for the bodily and spiritual welfare of the sick. In it the Church and her members follow the command of the Lord to turn to Him in need and to care for one another. Each Saturday we will celebrate this Sacrament at the 8am Liturgy for any of our parishioners who will be entering the hospital during the following week. If you are entering the hospital and wish to celebrate the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick, please call and leave your name at the Parish office before Friday of any week. In an emergency, please call at any time.

Communion: Taken to the sick of our parish who are Homebound, in Hospitals and Nursing Homes. Contact the parish office, 748-9029, when a loved one is in need of this pastoral care.
